Today we welcome one of the most iconic arcade games of all time to Pinball Land: Atari’s ASTEROIDS!
This is truly a game that must be seen in person to be appreciated. Photos do NOT do it justice! As a bonus, we have the “Deluxe” version of Asteroids featuring a stunning blacklight-lit backdrop. They sure don’t make ‘em like this anymore.

Did you know that in order to achieve world record scores, the best Asteroids players earn so many extra ships they can leave the game running while they take breaks? John McAllister’s record-setting game lasted 58 hours, ending with a score of 41,838,740 points!
If you’re looking to re-create this high score attempt at Pinball Land, be warned: it’s going to be a LOT harder on our Asteroids Deluxe machine!
